Poppy was born and raised in Jersey, moving to Australia to attend University before working and living on Outback livestock stations. Poppy has two sons, Jasper (8) and Koa (nearly 2). Her eldest was born in Australia and youngest in Jersey and she had two very different experiences with pregnancy and birth. After having a difficult time in pregnancy and post birth with her eldest, Poppy experienced mental health care in Australia before returning to Jersey and from then on became passionate about perinatal mental health, qualifying as a counsellor and further studying into perinatal mental health. Poppy would like to make a difference in mental health care surrounding conception, fertility, pregnancy and post-birth.
